While the couple said they can afford to visit both world-famous amusement parks, Kristine and Oyo wanted their children to realize that it is vital to keep track of spending and to not force things just because you can.

"Kahit na alam naman natin na pwedeng pilitin, gusto naming ituro sa kanila na kumbaga isa lang. It's really too expensive," Oyo said. "Sabi namin sa kanila, "Yung plane ticket pa lang ganito na ang inaabot namin.'"

Oyo further detailed that the family chose to fly in economy class to keep their vacation expenses practical.

"Nag-economy lang naman kami, and I think wala namang problema dun kasi kailangan mo rin talaga magtipid," he shared.

For the couple, having these straightforward financial conversations ensures that their children grow up grounded and mindful of their privileges.

"So we explain things to them na sinasabi namin na ganito diba? We have to budget kasi hindi pwedeng alam mo na kaya mo, sige ka lang nang sige," Oyo added.
