- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) disclosed on Thursday the official results of the August 2016 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination 

- According to the official announcement of PRC, 4,144 out of 5,126 passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination

- Three (3) working days after the last day of examination, the results were finally released

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced on Thursday, September1, the results of the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Tuguegarao last August 2016.

Out of the 5,126 takers, 4,144 have passed the board exam.

Board of Medical Technology Chairman Dr. Marietta C. Baccay along with members Ms. Marilyn R. Atienza and Ms. Marian M. Tantingco gave the licensure examination.

The results were released three working days after the last day of the exam.

This is from the announcement of Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) posted on their website.

From September 7 to September 9, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following:

1.) Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal

2.) Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)

3.) 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)

4.) 2 sets of metered documentary stamps

5.) 1 short brown envelope with name and profession

Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
