Showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz shared his reaction to the renewed pregnancy rumors surrounding Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli, saying he hopes the speculation about the celebrity couple eventually turns out to be true.

The rumors recently gained attention after a friend of Matteo shared details about an unexpected encounter with the actor in a social media post that was later deleted. Netizens became particularly curious after the friend included a message suggesting that Matteo would soon become a father.
"P.S. He is soon to be a daddy. Congratulations, bro!"
The statement quickly fueled speculation that Sarah and Matteo could be expecting their first child. Fans became even more curious after Matteo's friend reportedly reaffirmed the speculation in the comments section.

During an episode of his Latest Showbiz Update vlog, Ogie and his co-hosts discussed the circulating rumors. Ogie said he had already contacted someone in an effort to verify the information but suggested that the public would have to wait for clearer confirmation.
"Kaya abang-abang na lang tayo kung magpapakita si Sarah habang lumalaki ang tiyan. Ating pagbati sa mag-asawang Sarah at Matteo Guidicelli," he said in the video.
Aside from the pregnancy speculation, claims also surfaced that the couple's alleged baby could be a boy. Ogie, however, pointed out that determining the baby's gender would only be possible at a certain stage of pregnancy.
"Kung ano man ang totoo, sana nga totoo ito kasi long overdue na ito dahil, alam mo naman, lahat nagwi-wish na magkaanak na si Sarah, magkaroon sila ng family ni Matteo," Ogie shared.
The showbiz columnist also expressed hope that having a grandchild could bring happiness to Sarah's family, particularly amid past reports and public discussions involving Sarah and her mother, Mommy Divine.
"I'm sure 'pag nakita ni Mommy Divine 'yung kanyang apo kay Sarah. Lahat ng mga masama ng loob, tampo, mawawala 'yun 'pag nakita talaga 'yung apo mo."
