As shown in the video, Iwa sat down with the King of Talk to clear up how they managed to build such a tight relationship despite their shared history.
Iwa explained that when she first entered the life of her partner, Pampi Lacson, Jodi's former husband, the past relationship between the two had already completely ended. Because of this, there was never any bitterness or friction between the two women.
"Nung dumating naman ako sa buhay ni Pampi, wala na talaga sila," Iwa shared openly. "So nung dumating ako, hindi na siguro naging mahirap yung transition namin to becoming friends. Maybe because I'm not the reason why they broke up," she told Boy during the interview.

Beyond a clean slate, it was their mutual devotion to Thirdy—Jodi’s son with Pampi—that truly cemented their bond. Iwa admitted that she naturally extended her motherly love to Thirdy as if he were her own child.
Watching the child struggle during the initial family adjustments broke her heart, prompting the adults to quickly fix their ties for his sake. Since then, their dynamic blossomed so beautifully that the two women have sweet nicknames for each other, one that they've often used from time to time on social media as well.
"I call her Amor. She's the Amor of my life, and she calls me Madam," Iwa shared laughingly behind her hand, referencing Jodi's famous television role. "It blossomed into this wonderful friendship to the point that I consider her one of my best friends," she confessed.
The depth of their friendship goes much further than simple casual chats. Iwa bravely talked about her mental health journey, sharing that she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. On days when her psychiatrist is hard to reach, it is Jodi who steps in as her grounding force which further made their netizens happy.
"Sarap po ng may kaibigan that would listen to you pero may perspective pa rin po ng doctor," Iwa expressed warmly.
Iwa Moto is a Filipina actress and former reality show contestant who first gained recognition through StarStruck, GMA Network’s artist search program. After her exposure on StarStruck, she became known for playing villain roles in various television dramas such as Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap and Darna. Aside from acting, she also appeared on several magazine covers and took part in other TV programs. Over time, Iwa gradually stepped away from the showbiz spotlight and focused more on her personal life. She is the partner of Pampi Lacson, the son of former Senator Panfilo Lacson, and they have two children named Eve (or Mimi) and Caleb Jiro.
As previously reported by KAMI, Iwa Moto filmed herself dancing and lip-syncing to a song right in front of their bathroom door. Pampi Lacson was caught completely off guard as the door opened, revealing him sitting on the toilet. His shocked face and his attempt to hide from the camera became the highlight of the video. Iwa then jokingly shared a "moral of the story" for her followers to avoid similar embarrassing situations.
Meanwhile, Iwa Moto recently shared several photos from her Japan trip with Pampi Lacson, giving fans a glimpse of their special getaway. The actress posted heartfelt snaps that captured sweet moments together during their time in Japan. This comes shortly after the couple announced their engagement, which happened during the same romantic trip. Supporters flooded the comments with love for the newly-engaged couple.
