In the episode, beauty queen and journalist Ganiel Krishnan raised a question about post-relationship friendships, asking:

“Okay lang bang maging friends pa rin sa ex?”

He further explained that emotional distance sometimes becomes necessary, especially when the breakup is still relatively fresh.

“But I think over time, and if naka-move forward na, it depends on where you are in life. So, usually, maybe the last one is the one I'm not close to,” he added.

Rico clarified that communication is still possible even with a former partner, but emphasized boundaries when emotions are still involved.

"Makakausap mo pero hindi naman pwede, it's still a little too close," he said.

Despite the distance he maintains with his most recent ex, the singer stressed that he holds gratitude for all of his past relationships.

"But I do wanna remain friends with all my exes, kasi alam mo, ako, I might not be with them anymore but I really Im so thankful that they gave me that time in their lives that ako yung partner nila, spinend nila yun with me inallow nila na to spend that time with them. i'll always be thankful for that."
