The ground was muddy and wet, which is why the video clip has immediately gone viral.

The vendor was asked by GMA about the incident, and he explained that he washed it after all and cooked it using cooking oil.

"Dumulas po. Papakuluan ko pa lang po tapos dumulas. Hinugasan naman po at tsaka prinito ko naman sa mantika," said the vendor.

The act of the vendor may not be something that many would find acceptable. Hopefully, the video would teach everyone a lesson about how to properly handle food.

On the other hand, Filipino resilience is evident in times of crisis. Many have shown that they can make it through a pandemic. Filipinos abroad have also shown this kind of resiliency. This old man clearly showed this trait. He still tried his best to ensure that he would have a teeny bit of income in order to survive the pandemic.

One very good example of Filipino resilience is how people looked for ways and means to live after they lost their jobs because of unexpected circumstances. For instance, a stewardess turned to online selling when she lost her job. She showed that there would always be a way.

Artists, like Gladys Guevarra, also put their skills in making Filipino delicacies to good use. A decent income from selling food will go a long way. Another artist who also turned to online selling is Gloc-9.
