Raffy Tulfo has responded to the viral video of a child eating live worms after the parents of the toddler reached out to him.

Netizens have bashed the parents for feeding their child live worms which made the parents seek the help of the famous journalist.

According to Tulfo, there was nothing wrong with letting the child feed on worms as the worms are in fact edible and are considered to be a delicacy in some countries. He also shared that the worms are called coconut worms and are rich in protein.

Tulfo also solicited the advice of a nutritionist to shed some light on coconut worms. According to the nutritionist, people really do eat the worms in some areas of the countries but said that there were currently no studies on whether coconut worms are beneficial or harmful to children.

The journalist went on to say that as long as the child is not being forced to eat the worms then he does not see anything wrong with this particular diet. He also told netizens to leave the family be and to stop bashing them as they have done nothing wrong.

Raffy Tulfo featured the 21-year-old stepsister of local actor Danny Ramos due to her complaint against the latter. Danica accused her stepbrother of physically hurting her and their other housemates. Danny’s stepsister wants a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against Danny to prevent further attacks from him.
