Speaking as a guest on Your Honor, the Kapuso actress laid out her raw thoughts about modern parenting habits and gender double standards. Beauty noticed that while families are very strict with their daughters, lessons on accountability and respect are often missing when raising boys.
She then opened up directly about what bothers her the most:
"Yan yung frustrations ko. Like, kulang yung pagturo ng mga magulang sa mga lalaki. Kasi laging babae yung kailangan pagsabihan eh. 'Oh, intindihin mo lang yan kasi lalaki yan. Ganyan [talaga] umasta.'"

Instead of making excuses for boys, Beauty argued that parents should take the lead in instilling proper manners and decency early on, regardless of one's gender:
"Diba dapat pwedeng, 'Oh, pag nasa labas ka, pag may makita kang babae, respetuhin mo. Wag mong [sipulan], 'Uy sexy!' Make sure na nakauwi nang maayos yung tao... We're very hard on girls and we forget to be hard on boys."
The podcast hosts agreed with her points, discussing how curfew rules and home chores are often strictly enforced on daughters while sons are allowed to go out without question. Beauty added that this outdated, colonial mindset is something society needs to unlearn.
