Bea Borres has drawn criticism after sharing controversial relationship advice for young women, suggesting that those who cannot avoid dating should consider getting involved with a nepo baby.

The content creator made the remarks in a recent Facebook post featuring her unboxing a new luxury bag. Before showing her latest purchase, Bea took the opportunity to share her thoughts on relationships, financial independence, and choosing a partner.
She initially advised young women to avoid getting into relationships altogether.
"My advice to young women are 'wag mag-bo-boyfriend, huwag makipag-esmiringhuy."

However, she added that those who could not avoid getting into relationships should consider dating someone from a wealthy or influential family.
"Or kapag makikipag-esmiringhuy kayo at hindi n'yo maiiwasan...makipag-esmiringhuy kayo sa nepo baby," she said.
While delivering the advice, Bea pointed toward her former partner, Meray Yamada, who was also present in the video.
She then highlighted the importance of having one's own source of income, particularly for women who might find themselves raising a child without their partner's support.
"So that kapag nakipag-esmiringhuy kayo ng nepo baby tapos may bunga and then he leaves you in toughest time mo, puwede kang mag-demand," Bea explained.
Her statements, however, did not sit well with teacher and fellow content creator Mikee Brosas, who publicly called out the message behind her remarks.
Mikee questioned the decision to turn exploitation, child-related responsibilities, and materialism into a business model and a source of humor.
"[S]ino naman kasing matinong tao ang gagawing business model at joke ang exploitation, child-leveraging, at hyper-materialism? [S]obrang kadiri ng ganitong clout-chasing mindset.”
Mikee further described Bea's portrayal of relationships as:
"very toxic," "anti-women," and "out-of-touch."
According to the content creator, the remarks appeared to frame relationships and a child's life as though they were an investment portfolio.
Bea and Meray previously became the subject of public attention after she became pregnant and the two eventually separated without establishing a co-parenting arrangement.
The former couple later reunited, this time appearing together in content that Bea shared on social media.
