A 36-year-old male has been living inside a small room in his home for about two decades already.
He is Robert (not his real name) and according to GMA's Reporter's Notebook, he just stopped schooling when he was in second year high school and opted to stay inside a small dimly lit room, not wanting to go out.
His mother recounted that he said there were voices in his ear, telling him to hit his parents.
"May nagsasabi sa kanya paluin mo ang nanay mo."
Sometimes, he would be okay, but sometimes, he would become violent.
Now, he was brought to the hospital, got checked and received some supplies of medicine.
The only fear of the mother and father of Robert is who will take care of him when they pass on since they are already very old.
