Miss World Philippines organization expressed concern on the safety and well-being of the country’s representative to the Miss Eco International pageant, Ms. Kelley Day, after it was reported that several candidates tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
The statement did not indicate whether Kelley is among the pageant candidates who turned up positive.

In the beginning, I believed it was just gossip but it is worse [than] you can imagine!”
In their official statement, MWP said they are now closely coordinating with the Miss Eco International group in “ensuring the health and safety of all candidates in its recently concluded pageant.”
Mr. Arnold Vegafria, the National Director of MWP, said that the Philippines’ bet for the pageant, Kelley Day, “remains their topmost priority.”
