Since it took days before the discovery of the crime, other restaurant customers had accidentally dined in the urinated hot pot.
As a compensation, the restaurant refunded some customers who dined with them after the incident happened.
The two suspects have already been arrested.
A hot pot in a restaurant is a communal dining experience where diners cook their own ingredients in a simmering pot of broth at the table.
The pot is usually placed in the center, and customers can choose from various broths, meats, seafood, vegetables, tofu, and noodles to cook. Dipping sauces are often provided to enhance the flavors.
Popular in Asian cuisines, especially Chinese, Japanese (shabu-shabu), and Korean hot pot styles, it’s a social and interactive way of dining. Some restaurants offer all-you-can-eat hot pot, while others have à la carte options.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
