A video of a man bidding his daughter goodbye before going to work has tugged at the heartstrings of countless netizens all over social media.
In the video, a man wearing a military uniform could be seen unable to leave the room as his daughter guarded the door.
KAMI learned that the said video was originally shared on TikTok by user @iam_mharia, garnering over 869,000 views on the app alone.
"Alam na niya pag nagsuot na ng bag daddy niya," Mharia wrote in the video, adding a pleading face emoticon at the end.

Her daughter could then be seen babbling in the video, seemingly reacting to her dad leaving for work again.
In the video, the woman behind the camera could be heard calling for her daughter, "Halika na," she said, gesturing for her daughter to come to her.
This, however, failed as the daughter immediately went back to the door, guarding it once more. "Pasok na daddy," the man said prompting their kid to babble again.
At the end of the video clip, the dad eventually gave his daughter a hug, carrying her in his arms which warmed the hearts of netizens.
