Anthony Taberna shared his thoughts on the controversy involving presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and broadcast journalist Jessica Soho.

Marcos’ spokesperson Vic Rodriguez said that the former senator refused to be interviewed by Soho because the latter is biased against him.
According to Taberna, politicians should not be criticized for refusing to grant interviews. However, Taberna added that it is also wrong to label journalists and reporters as biased for asking politicians tough and difficult questions.

“Kung pabor sainyo, ano ‘yun, ‘di biased? Kapag tinanong ka tapos ‘di mo gusto ‘yung tinanong, biased na ‘yung nagtatanong? S’yempre media ‘yun, tatanungin ka nang gusto itanong basta hindi labag sa batas. So okay lang ‘yun. Kung ayaw n’yang pumunta sa interview, okay lang ‘yun. Anthony Taberna, also known as Ka Tunying, is a well-known journalist and radio commentator in the Philippines. He is best known for his radio program Dos Por Dos and Umagang Kay Ganda.
In a previous report by KAMI, Anthony had no choice but to transfer to DZRH from DZMM due to the shutdown of ABS-CBN on television and radio. Bianca Gonzalez, Karen Davila and Amy Perez were among the celebrities who congratulated Anthony for his transfer to DZRH.
On a more light-hearted note, Anthony went viral due to Amy Perez’s blooper on “Umagang Kay Ganda.” Amy apologized for photobombing news anchor Anthony Taberna during his interview segment.
