Anthony Taberna made the news after he and his radio program partner Gerry Baja transferred to DZRH from DZMM after the ABS-CBN franchise renewal was rejected by the Congress.

KAMI learned that a few Kapamilya stars took to social media to share their reaction over the news.

They include Bianca Gonzalez, Karen Davila and Amy Perez, who congratulated Anthony for their transfer to DZRH. Anthony replied to their comments, thanking them for their greeting.

GMA reporter Arnold Clavio and politician JV Ejercito also congratulated Ka Tunying for this new chapter in his career.

Fortunately, no one took Anthony's transfer to DZRH as a betrayal to the Kapamilya network since he only did that after the network's shutdown on TV and radio occurred.

Anthony Taberna is a prominent broadcast-journalist in the Philippines. He spent more than half of his life working for the Kapamilya network. His DZMM program "Dos Por Dos" with Gerry Baja is one of the most beloved radio shows and he also used to host "Umagang Kay Ganda" for the Kapamilya network.

A few days ago, he got emotional while airing his heartfelt message to mark the end of “Dos por Dos” after 17 years of serving other people.

He also received strong words from TV broadcaster Ben Tulfo because of the former’s serious accusation.
