Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, popularly known as BBM, is a Filipino politician who is most known for being the only son of the late President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos. He served as governor of Ilocos from 1998 to 2007.
In a previous report by KAMI, Bongbong filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for President, putting an end to all speculations about whether he would run for Vice President or President.
Bongbong quickly stepped up to the podium after filling out his COC to officially announce his candidacy. The former senator also responded to questions from the press.
Earlier, he also divulged the original political plan of his camp to the media. He revealed the information after filing his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for the presidency last month. The former senator claimed that his original plan was to choose President Rodrigo Duterte as his running mate.
