Bongbong Marcos, nag-file na ng COC sa pagka-presidente: “I guess that makes it all official”

- Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos has filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for President, ending all speculations whether he would run for VP or the top position

- He also revealed he will be running under the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP)

- After filling out his COC, Bongbong immediately went up the podium to officially announce his candidacy

- The former senator also answered some questions from the waiting media

He also revealed that he would be running under the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).

Yesterday, after much speculation as to whether he would run for VP or the top post, Bongbong announced his intention to run for president.

After taking oath as a member of the PFP, he immediately addressed the nation through an online live stream in his new headquarters, where he announced his presidential bid.

Today, he went to the filing venue where he filled out his COC form for president. He immediately went up the podium to announce his candidacy for president officially.

“Good morning,everyone. As you have just witnessed I have filed my Certifcate Of Candidacy for president just now. So i guess that makes it all official,” former Ilocos Governor and Senator Bongbong Marcos said.

He also answered some questions, some of them a bit strong, setting expectations on what issues could be asked of him during the campaign.

The former senator also addressed issues about President Rodrigo Duterte, Mayor Sara Duterte, Senator Bong Go, as well as his take on what’s happening.

Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, also popularly known as BBM, is a Pinoy politician famous for being the only son of the late President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos. He served as Ilocos governor from 1998 to 2007 and then as congressman after stepping down as governor. In 2010, he ran and won as a senator and served as such until 2016. BBM then made an unsuccessful bid for the vice presidency in 2016, though protested the results of that election, alleging vote rigging and cheating.

Bongbong Marcos finally aired his thoughts on the controversial interview with Toni Gonzaga. He said that Toni should not be criticized because of the interview. He also added that Toni is a vlogger and not a journalist. He added that she is also very good in getting information from the interviewee.

Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero is among the prominent personalities who recently defended Toni Gonzaga. This, after Toni interviewed former Senator Bongbong Marcos on her online show “Toni Talks.” Chiz took to his Twitter page to defend the actress and television host. According to the governor, Toni has the “freedom and right to interview whomsoever she may want.”
