A man was injured after he was allegedly attacked by a group of seven to 10 people at the plaza in Dueñas, Iloilo.

According to a report on Unang Balita, a video showed several men surrounding the victim before he was repeatedly kicked during the incident.
The attack reportedly happened at the Plaza of Dueñas on Monday.
Based on initial information from the police, the victim had intentionally gone to the area because he wanted to confront a person who allegedly hurt his sibling.

However, the situation reportedly did not go as he expected.
Instead of simply meeting the person he wanted to confront, the victim was allegedly met by several of the person's companions.
Authorities said the group then ganged up on him.
The video presented in the news report showed the victim surrounded by several people as the incident unfolded.
Police estimated that around seven to 10 men were involved in the attack.
As a result, the victim suffered injuries to his head and back.
Authorities responded after receiving information about the incident.
However, police said they were no longer able to find the people allegedly involved when they arrived at the scene.
The incident is now under investigation as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the attack.
Police are also looking into the identities of the people involved and what exactly happened before the confrontation escalated.

Police said the suspect became involved in a disturbance at the gathering. The father of the young victim and husband of the woman reportedly approached him and asked what was happening.
