A 51-year-old woman was injured after she was allegedly attacked by several relatives at their farmland in Barangay Digkilaan, Iligan City.

According to a report by Balitanghali, police investigators found that a long-running land dispute among family members may have been behind the incident.
The report said the victim was approached and allegedly attacked while she was at the farmland. She sustained injuries and was brought to a hospital for medical treatment.
The woman remains in the hospital and continues to recover from the injuries she sustained during the incident.

Authorities have since taken three of the four alleged attackers into custody.
Two of them voluntarily surrendered to the police following the incident. Authorities identified the two as siblings of the victim.
Police later arrested another suspect. The third person is also reportedly a relative of the woman.
The identities of the victim and the individuals allegedly involved in the incident were not disclosed in the Balitanghali report.
Based on the initial police investigation, the disagreement among the relatives had reportedly been going on for some time.
Authorities said the family members had a long-running dispute involving land. Investigators are looking into the conflict as a possible reason behind the incident.
Police are continuing their investigation as they gather information needed for the case.
Authorities are also preparing to file the appropriate complaints against the three suspects currently in their custody.
According to the report, the three suspects have not given a statement regarding the allegations against them.
