A motorcycle rider and his passenger were injured after they figured in an accident involving a dog that crossed the road in Talisay, Batangas.

CCTV captured the incident and was later featured in a report on GMA’s Balitanghali.
Footage showed the motorcycle traveling along a road in Barangay San Guillermo, Talisay, Batangas, when a dog suddenly crossed its path.
The motorcycle then crashed, causing the rider and his passenger to fall from the vehicle. Both sustained injuries in the incident.

The dog was seen running away shortly after the accident.
Personnel from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council responded to the scene and assisted the two victims.
Despite their injuries, the rider and his passenger reportedly declined to be taken to a hospital. No statement from either of them was included in the Balitanghali report.
The identities of the two victims were not disclosed. The report also did not provide further information about the extent of their injuries or what happened to the dog after it left the area.
The CCTV footage showed how quickly the incident unfolded after the dog appeared along the motorcycle’s path.
Emergency responders were able to reach the scene following the accident and offer assistance to the rider and his passenger.

Recently, a 75-year-old senior citizen was allegedly deceived by a man who offered to buy her gold ring in Barangay Calaboa, Leganes, Iloilo, on July 31. CCTV footage showed a helmet-wearing man talking to the woman, identified in the report as Lola Susana, at the entrance of her home. According to the report, the man expressed interest in buying her ring and asked to examine it. While pretending to inspect the jewelry, he allegedly switched it with a fake ring before handing one back to her.
