A man who fell asleep along a road in Nalu-oyan, Dumangas, Iloilo, was robbed of more than P8,000 in cash after a helmet-wearing suspect quietly approached him and took the money from his pocket.

The incident happened on Friday, July 31, and was recorded by a CCTV camera near the area.
In the footage featured by GMA News, a man wearing a helmet could be seen approaching the sleeping victim.
The suspect moved carefully as the victim remained asleep on the side of the road.

He then reportedly took more than P8,000 from the victim’s pocket. After getting the money, the helmet-wearing man quickly left the area.
The footage documented the sequence of the incident and how the suspect took advantage of the victim’s condition.
According to the owner of a nearby store, the victim had earlier been drinking with his coworkers at Dumangas Port.
He later fell asleep along the road in Nalu-oyan. His name and other personal details were not disclosed in the report.
