Wilhelm Helmot Wolflee died after suffering severe injuries following an alleged assault by three men in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

The incident was featured in GMA News' Unang Balita, which showed CCTV footage of the confrontation that happened shortly after midnight on July 13.

According to the Mabalacat City Police, the altercation reportedly started after one of the suspects allegedly attempted to take the victim's motorcycle. A witness said the victim confronted the suspect, which later escalated into violence.

Police said two more men joined the confrontation. One allegedly struck the victim with a wooden club, another punched him, while another suspect reportedly hit him with a metal pipe before leaving the scene.

As a result of the attack, Wolflee sustained bruises, wounds, and serious injuries to his head. Authorities said he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury that left him in a coma. He later died while receiving treatment.

Police shared details from their investigation through a statement.

"Base po sa statement ng witness, parang sinabi na kinuha yung motor. Pero ang sagot naman po ng suspect, ma'am, eh isinabi lang niya. Kinompronta niya po yung mga suspect."

Investigators also said two of the suspects, who are reportedly relatives, allegedly joined the attack after seeing the confrontation.

The victim's wife said Wolflee had only gone out to attend a birthday gathering before the incident happened. She recalled that the argument lasted for some time before the three men allegedly ganged up on him.

She also claimed that her husband's cellphone fell during the assault and was allegedly taken.

"Hinampas po siya nung isa. Sumunod po may umikot, sinuntok. Nalaglag po yung cellphone niya, kinuha. Tapos may dumating ulit. Pinukpok po siya ng tubo patalikod."

After bringing her husband to the hospital, the wife said she later found their motorcycle parked in front of their house.

Wolflee celebrated his birthday on July 15 while confined, but he eventually passed away. He is now being laid to rest as his family continues to seek justice.

His mother became emotional as she appealed to the suspects to surrender.

"Hindi ko pa matanggap. Hindi ko na siya makikita. Sumuko na sila. Pagbayaran nila ang ginawa nila sa aking anak."

Police confirmed that the suspects have already been identified. However, they were no longer at their residence when officers attempted to serve operations. A manhunt is now underway as authorities continue searching for the three suspects.

In another report, Marlon Sabandal lost his life after he was shot while trying to stop a street brawl in Barangay Buting, Pasig City, in the early hours of July 12. According to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita, several men were seen arguing along the roadside before the confrontation escalated into a fistfight. Barangay tanods who were on patrol aboard a tricycle happened to pass by and immediately crossed the street to stop the commotion.

Meanwhile, A 46-year-old motorcycle taxi rider was allegedly killed by his own passenger after being stabbed with an ice pick in Caloocan early Tuesday morning. The suspect also allegedly stole the victim's motorcycle before fleeing, according to a report on GMA News' Balitanghali. The victim had reportedly dropped off his passenger in Kaunlar Village, Barangay 20, Caloocan, at around 1:30 a.m. Moments later, the passenger allegedly attacked the rider by repeatedly stabbing him in the side with an ice pick.
