While pretending to work, the suspect allegedly took cash from the employee’s bag without being noticed. The saleslady later discovered that around P3,700 was missing.

The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Dadiangas East.

Authorities later found out that the same man was also involved in another theft incident at an eatery in Barangay Dadiangas South just three days earlier.

In the second incident, the suspect reportedly introduced himself as a plumber who had been sent by the owner of the establishment. CCTV footage showed him attempting to redirect the camera away from his actions so he would not be seen.

However, another CCTV camera installed in the kitchen still captured him entering the area where the store’s earnings were kept. He allegedly stole nearly P2,000 from the eatery.

According to one of the service crew members, the man also borrowed a pen from them and even asked for P4,600 supposedly intended for buying materials.
