One of the victims from the LPG tank explosion in Taytay, Rizal, has passed away.

According to a report by GMA 7's '24 Oras,' 40 percent of the victim's body sustained severe burns from the incident that happened on March 28, 2025.

His mother, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), was not able to see him alive before he died.

Meanwhile, the two other victims, a mother and her son, remain in the Intensive Care Unit of East Avenue Medical Center.

Additionally, the family of the other two victims is requesting financial help because of the cost of antibacterial cream.

According to the report, each of the victims is currently consuming 1 anti-bacterial cream per week, which costs more than 2,000.

It can be recalled that A new LPG tank that was being installed on a burner exploded, injuring three people. The accident happened in Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, on the morning of March 28, 2025. CCTV footage showed two men working inside a small store beside the road. Moments later, smoke started to appear, followed by a powerful explosion.
