A 58-year-old man was arrested in Manila for allegedly taking advantage of the daughter of his former partner.
According to a report in TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the crime happened back in 2013.
Following the incident, an arrest warrant was released against the suspect in 2015.
In an interview with PMAJ Javen Galven Dominguez, the victim was just 14 years old when the crime was committed against her.

Currently, the victim has reportedly finished college that's why the case became sensitive.
The Manila Police district conducted a surveillance operation to gather information about the suspect who was eventually located.
Additionally, the alleged suspect was also maltreated the then minor victim and hurt her.
Meanwhile, the alleged suspect denied the allegations of taking advantage of the girl. However, he admitted that there had been maltreatment against the victim that he committed.
The suspect also denied that he was hiding all those years and he was also shocked after learning that he had an arrest warrant.
He is now in custody of Raxabago - Tondo Police Station 1, and he will be charged with rape and 4 counts of violation of R.A. 7610 also known as the "Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act."
