A multicab was caught on camera crashing into a parked truck on a highway in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, where seven passengers were injured.

In a report by Rgil Relator of GMA Regional TV on Balitanghali this Tuesday, one can see the dashcam video of the incident that took place along the Davao-Digos Highway this Sunday.

In the video, it can be seen that the traffic flow is smooth but the direction of the multicab where the truck is parked slightly deviates to the side of the road.

It was too late when the multicab was about to return to its original line and it collided with the truck.

With the force of the crash, the car spun and some of its occupants were thrown off the vehicle.

One man, could be seen utterly distressed as he picked up what looked like a child from the road.

The other passengers were also being assisted by other bystanders in the area.

One victim was hit by the following SUV, which also braked immediately.

Narrated by Sta. Cruz Police that seven were injured, who were all riders of the multicab.

The driver, who is currently recovering in hospital, has yet to give his side.

The investigation into the incident that caused the injury of several persons is still ongoing.

According to the report of DZBB Super Radyo, he also hit a cyclist as he was making his escape. The rider said that he lost his brakes, which was why he was seemingly escaping.
