PBBM at FL Liza Marcos, nag-host ng social dinner kasama mga senador

- Pres. Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Marcos hosted a dinner with several senators

- The dinner came after Iglesia Ni Cristo's "National Rally for Peace"

- The First Lady then posted the photo on her FBf page on Jan. 14, Tuesday

- She captioned the photo as "dinner with senators and their spouses"

First Lady Liza-Araneta Marcos took to Facebook and posted a photo with the senators and their spouses.

The photo showed almost all the senators and their spouses at the palace.

The First Lady said that the dinner was held at the Bahay Pangulo inside the Malacañan Palace Complex.

In the middle of the photo was the prominent Heart Evangelista, and seated beside her was Sen. Cynthia Villar.

PBBM could be seen standing behind the First Lady along with the rest of the male senators who attended.

All senators were at the dinner, except for a few namely, Senators Ronald Dela Rosa, Bong Go, Risa Hontiveros, Grace Poe, and Imee Marcos.

In a previous event at the palace, President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Marcos became emotional as Sofronio Vasquez, The Voice USA Champion, sang in front of them and other government officials at the Malacañang Palace.

Aside from the President and First Lady, the President’s sister, Mrs. Irene Marcos-Araneta and some government officials were also present.

Sofronio sang his winning piece at The Voice US, “A Million Dreams,” which is part of the original soundtrack of the movie “The Greatest Showman.”

Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr. is the current President of the Republic of the Philippines. He assumed office in office on June 30, 2022. He is the son of former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. and former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos.

Meanwhile, veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis, in a recent social media post, compared President Bongbong Marcos and former President Rodrigo Duterte. In the beginning of her post, Manay Lolit clarified that she’s very apolitical and would follow whoever was elected leader, adding that she respects the will of the majority. She then went on to express her opinion about what is happening between the Marcos and Duterte camps. At the end of her post, she saluted one whom she says is the “epitome of a real gentleman”

It can be recalled that President Bongbong Marcos recently broke his silence about the alleged threat to his person and First Lady Liza Marcos made by Vice President Sara Duterte last Saturday, November 23. In his statement, he slammed the alleged threat and called it a criminal act that shouldn’t be given a free pass. He also encouraged everyone to follow the rule of law and to answer truthfully the queries of legislators in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The president also called on those concerned to prioritize things that can help the country improve and to set aside political dramas.
