A man from Cagayan de Oro, Leobert Mangubat Yurong, sustained a leg fracture after he sought the services of an unlicensed chiropractor.

According to the report on News5, Leonard had a home service session.

However, instead of feeling better, he ended up feeling worse, and even sustained a leg fracture.

The injury needed Leonard to install steel plates on his broken leg, and the medical expenses ran up to P173,000.

Dr. Rob Walcher, a licensed chiropractor, explained that the medical field actually requires eight years of training.

He also said that what was done in the video was hilot and not chiropractic.

He also advised against seeking these unlicensed practitioners as they can cause severe injury, even death.
