An 18-year-old who was sitting inside a sidecar of a tricycle was shot dead by a riding-in-tandem in Iloilo City.

Based on the report of GMA Regional TV, the victim was with a certain "Makoy" who was identified as a 16-year-old male.

CCTV footage showed that Makoy ran away from the scene prior to the shooting.

The statement of Makoy also helped authorities in determining who the mastermind of the crime was.

Molo Police Station chief Police Captain Ryan Chris Inot said that before the killing, Makoy already knew what would happen, and they suspect that the whole incident was because of illegal dr*gs.

It was found that an employee of the company tasked the suspects to assault the victim in exchange for payment and a job at the company.
