A 49-year-old man who has been allegedly in hiding for 17 years after having been accused of killing his uncle with the use of an electric fan, was finally arrested by authorities.

He was arrested right at his home in Tondo.

He was accused of the death of his uncle in 2007.

"Meron silang mataga nang alitan at dahil nga doon, nagawa nitong accused natin na paluin ng matigas na bagay itong kanyang uncle na nagging dahilan ng pagkamatay," said PMaj. Philipp Ines, spokesperson of Manila Police District said in Unang Balita of GMA News.

In a separate report, the daughter of the victim of the alleged shooting by John Wayne Sace has spoken.

According to her, the victim, Lynel Eugenio, came to the area because the suspect would like to be brought to BGC.
