The young professional was simply heading back to her dormitory in Pasay City with her older brother to prepare for the upcoming work week when a passenger jeepney suddenly rammed the rear of their motorcycle along the westbound lane of Ortigas Avenue Extension in Barangay San Isidro.
According to the detailed news report published by ABS-CBN News, the sudden impact threw the siblings in opposite directions.
CCTV footage captured around 7:00 PM showed the older brother being tossed to the right side of the road, sustaining minor hand abrasions.

Heartbreakingly, his sister was thrown directly into the path of the oncoming jeepney. Bystanders immediately rushed to the scene, working together in a desperate attempt to manually lift the heavy public utility vehicle and free the trapped victim.

Recalling the terrifying moments, the grieving brother shared, “Ako kasi tumalbog pa-kanan, eh siya pagtalbog niya roon mismo sa dadaanan ng jeep kaya inabot siya. Nanggaling po kami ng Infanta, Quezon, tapos pauwi kami sa dorm ng kapatid ko sa Pasay, kasi may trabaho po siya bukas.”

“Base po sa sinabi ng driver, nawalan daw po siya ng preno. Nung oras na hiningan na po natin ng mga dokumento yung jeepney driver, wala po siyang naipakita na OR/CR. Lisensya lamang po niya at dating dokumento na nasangkot na siya sa damage to property at physical injuries,” Julius detailed.
The elderly driver expressed intense remorse from his holding cell, desperately pleading, “Biglang hinto eh, parang bulaga na. Pasensya na, sorry na, hindi ko naman sinasadya.”
Despite the public apology, the brother remains resolute in seeking justice for his sibling. “Yun lang po yung gusto ko mangyari, mapanagutan yung nangyari. Yun lang po maitutulong ko sa kapatid ko eh,” he stated firmly.
