A 16-year-old boy jumped into a creek in his attempt to escape after trying to steal a bicycle.

In a report by GMA News, the incident happened in Barangay Imelda in Baguio City, yesterday.

According to the authorities, the teenager was accompanied by a 10-year-old boy. The two allegedly tried to steal a bicycle but were caught red-handed by a construction worker.

The two young boys tried to flee from the scene and jumped into a creek. The 10-year-old survived, sadly, the 16-year-old boy drowned and didn't make it alive when he was rushed to a hospital.

In another viral news story, a 2-year-old girl was hit by a pick-up vehicle by their neighbor in Masinop Street, Tondo, Manila. In a CCTV footage, children were playing on a street where the little girl was seen walking on her own. Not so far from the children was a pick-up, and just in time when it was about to move, it hit the 2-year-old kid who was rolled over by the said vehicle. The driver quickly brought the baby to the hospital but was eventually pronounced dead on arrival.
