A woman, Shirley Basario, died after being stabbed by her ex-boyfriend.

Based on the video report of News5, the victim and her boyfriend were eating dinner when the suspect barged in, wielding a kitchen knife and started stabbing the two.

Based on the account of Nenita Basario, the victim's mother, her daughter even told her to run away, but the latter opted to stay, perhaps not expecting that her ex, whom she was with for a long time, could hurt her.

The suspect reportedly hid under the bed and seemed to have been planning the crime, based on the report.

Shirley was declared dead on the spot while her boyfriend sustained two stab wounds.
