Isko Moreno, in a recent post on Facebook, shared a photo of him and popular cardiologist, Doctor Willie Ong.

The famous doctor, oftentimes referred to in the media as “Doc Willie” or “Doc Willie Ong,” is a former candidate for vice president and the running mate of Isko in the 2022 presidential elections.

It can be recalled that recently, the famous doctor revealed a tumor called “sarcoma” with a shocking size of 16 by 13 by 12 centimeters, or more than 6 by 5 by 4 inches, was discovered in his stomach.

This has caused the popular physician to feel great pain.

In Isko’s FB post, the former mayor said Doc Willie is still weak and needs to undergo a couple more chemotherapy sessions.

“Nagkita kami ni Doc Willie Ong here sa Singapore. Mahina pa siya at marami pang chemo sessions ang gagawin sa kanya,” former Mayor Isko said in his post.

He then imparted a message from Doc Willie that former Mayor Isko said is for everyone who support and believe the famous physician.

“His message to all his followers and those who believed in him: Mahal daw niya ang mga kababayan nating Pilipino at hangga't malakas siya hindi daw siya titigil ng tulong sa taong bayan at sa bansa hangang sa dulo,” former Mayor Isko said in his post.

Willie Tan Ong is a Filipino cardiologist, internist, and media personality who rose to fame for providing medical advice on his Facebook page and YouTube channel. He was also recognized in the program “Salamat Dok” as one of the resident medical experts and volunteer doctors from 2008 to 2018. In addition, he has also been a regular columnist in The Philippine Star and Pilipino Star Ngayon where he writes about health matters.

In a recent update on social media about Doc Willie Ong, it was learned that he was again admitted at the hospital on September 7, 2024 because of neutropenic sepsis. It was also learned that he experienced high fever, chills, dry lips, and low blood pressure. His white blood cells also dropped to 0.36 from the normal 5 to 10. He was released from the hospital on September 13, 2024 after six days of treatment.

In a previous video that has already gone viral, Doc Willie Ong released a statement about corrupt politicians in the Philippines. According to Doc Willie, the thing that’s causing many Filipinos hardship, particularly in matters of health, is the corruption in politics. The famous cardiologist also shared the latest medical update about him, saying that he only has two to three months left where he would know if he would still live or die.
