A 43-year-old woman who just came home from America a month ago was recently ambushed and shot dead in Malasiqui, Pangasinan.

In the video of Balitanghali of GMA News, the woman who came home from America a month ago left her house when she was ambushed.

According to the investigation by the police, the suspects, who have yet to be found, may have been motivated by the victim's properties.

The 43-year-old woman apparently sustained several gunshot wounds to the body after she was ambushed just after leaving her home.

As of this writing, the family of the victim has yet to provide a statement about what happened.

One wake will be done at the place where the late beauty queen grew up while the other wake will be held near a memorial chapel. Previously, Lopez and her boyfriend, Yitshak Cohen, were said to have sustained gunshot wounds.
