Based on the initial report, he was arrested around 10 a.m. at the Manila City Hall.

Hon. Maria Victoria A. Soriano-Villadolid issued the arrest warrant against the brother of incoming senator Raffy Tulfo.

The warrant was for a violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

It can be recalled that Raffy Tulfo previously mentioned that one of the things that he is considering is the decriminalization of libel.

Ramon Tulfo is one of the most celebrated television personalities in the Philippines. He is also a radio broadcaster and newspaper columnist. As a columnist, he writes for The Manila Times and Philippine Daily Inquirer, two popular newspapers in the country. His immense contribution to the Filipino media industry has seen him gradually grow and gain much recognition.

Ramon Tulfo took to his PhilStar Column and discussed the alleged P13.3 million-worth watch of Health Sec. Franciso Duque III. According to Tulfo's column, the watch was an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ultra watch. Tulfo said that he wrote about the watch on his Facebook account on April 6, 2021, after his previous newspaper did not use it in his column. Mon Tulfo also added that he allegedly saw Duque wear the watch on a Twitter post image and even pasted the photo on his Facebook wall.

Ramon Tulfo got into a heated conversation online with a netizen. The netizen implied in a tweet that Ramon stole P60 million from the government. The journalist then made a correction, saying that it is his brother Ben Tulfo who stole millions.
