Famous OPM band Ben&Ben recently became a hot topic on Facebook and Reddit after a netizen claimed that Ben&Ben can be expensively booked for an event without being guaranteed that the lead vocalists will perform.

On their official Facebook page, Ben&Ben shut down the fake news without directly referencing the viral post about them.
According to the band, they find it sad and tiring that they have to defend themselves from false information online. Despite being the victims of fake news, they promised to still perform and write music the best they could for their fans.

In the comments section, popular music artist Juan Karlos shared his thoughts on the issue. Juan Karlos also debunked the rumor and speculated that the person who posted against Ben&Ben must have been bored when he or she created the fake news.
“Unang kita ko pa lang sabi ko ‘aba nga naman at may bored na naman po tayong kababayan,’” Juan Karlos commented.
