“I always say palagi kasi parang pareho pong strong 'yung personalities namin, eh, and pareho kaming may opinion sa bagay-bagay. And ako po, I really like the conversation going.”

She explained that she does not necessarily expect Wilbert to agree with her whenever they discuss something. Instead, she prefers hearing his reasoning and understanding where his opinions come from.
“Kapag kunwari, meron akong opinyon, I don't expect you to agree to my opinion first; I don't want you to agree to me right away. If you have another opinion, I want you to tell me why, and then let's talk about it.”
Wilbert, however, appeared to have a different take on how their conversations usually unfold. He even pointed out that Bea should also make an effort to listen when he explains his side.
“Sabi mo kasi, parang 'Tell me why.' Sana marunong kang makinig.”
Bea clarified that asking questions was her way of understanding his reasoning and opening up a discussion. Wilbert then explained that he tends to approach arguments through logic and what he believes is reasonable for most people.
“Kumbaga, ito 'yung tama sa karamihan. Minsan kasi, hindi kami magkatugma du'n kasi ako, 'yung basis ko, 'yung rational na thinking.”
The actress maintained that she was willing to agree with him whenever his arguments made sense. However, she also wanted him to recognize that different perspectives should be considered rather than immediately dismissing alternative explanations.
“Ako naman kasi, ang point ko is that it's not just that side of the coin. There's always the other side of the coin. So sasabihin ko rin po 'yun and parang ang sa 'kin, may mga bagay naman na wala kang basis. Like, how can you say na 'yun 'yung tama?”
Their discussion became even more animated when they tackled the idea of relying on what the majority considers correct. Wilbert suggested that Bea sometimes continued questioning a particular position even when many people already supported it.
Bea, meanwhile, stressed that the number of people agreeing with an opinion does not automatically make it right. For her, listening to different arguments and examining other possibilities are important parts of reaching an understanding.
“Kaya nga nag-uusap, 'di ba? Kasi, it's still based on the way we see things,” Bea said.
Wilbert responded by emphasizing that conversations should also involve listening rather than simply exchanging arguments.
“Sana, nakikinig. Mag-uusap lang 'pag nag-a-agree. Pwede mag-usap, mag-usap tayo, pero like 'Ito na 'yung mga factors.'"
Despite their contrasting approaches, Boy appeared to appreciate the fact that the two were comfortable expressing their opinions in front of each other. The veteran television host even shared a playful prediction about what might happen between them in the future.
“Pero alam n'yo, magkakatuluyan kayo. Hunch ko lang naman ito; this is the other side of the coin. Importante na nag-uusap, importante na nagpapalitan ng kuro-kuro,” Boy remarked.
Boy's remark added an amusing twist to the exchange, especially after witnessing how Bea and Wilbert handled their differences throughout the interview.
