During the “Chika o Add to Cart” segment of GTV’s Chika Cart on Tuesday, October 27, the actress spoke openly about her own experience. She also addressed whether seeing her older photos online bothers her.
Asked whether cosmetic enhancements should remain a taboo topic, AZ said people should be free to decide how much they want to share.
“I feel like it's your own choice. If you want to keep it a secret, that's fine. Pero, we shouldn't judge people for going through enhancements,” she said.

The Kapuso star pointed out that undergoing a procedure involves courage, along with pain and expenses. For her, these are reasons to treat people with greater understanding.
“We should empower them because it takes so much confidence, it takes so much like courage for you to go through 'yung mga knife and everything; kasi grabe, ang sakit ng enhancements at ang gastos,” she explained.
AZ also encouraged viewers to respect those who see cosmetic enhancements as a way to feel more confident about themselves.
“If they wanna be more confident, and if that's their way of being confident, then we should accept that and we should love them for who they are,” she said.
Earlier in the segment, the actress chose “Chika,” agreeing to answer a question from a box. The question asked whether she gets annoyed when people post pictures taken before her cosmetic enhancement.
She acknowledged having her nose done and answered directly.

“Ako, yes I got my nose done. Honestly, hindi ako napipikon kapag lumalabas 'yung older photos ko, kasi kaunti lang naman 'yung pinagbago,” she said.
Rather than feel upset about those images, AZ described changes in appearance as part of a “glow-up stage.” She recalled how she became more conscious of her looks as she grew older.
“I think everyone goes through na dati wala akong pake sa itsura ko, ngayon may pake na ako,” she added.
Beyond how she looked at the time, those photographs remind the celebrity of achievements and meaningful experiences from her younger years. She said she does not want to let go of those memories.
Some of the pictures are especially important because they include her dad.
“May photos din ako do'n na kasama ko 'yung dad ko, it's very important. Ayaw ko ma-delete 'yun sa memory ko. If ever people bring those back up, it's fine with me,” she shared.
