Antoinette Jadaone reminded moviegoers about proper cinema etiquette after sharing a pointed set of reminders on social media about respecting fellow viewers and the shared space inside movie theaters.

The director posted her message on Tuesday, August 11, highlighting several behaviors that can affect the movie-watching experience of other people who have also paid to see a film.

“Tandaan po natin opo, may tinatawag tayong cinema etiquette kasi:” saad ng direktor.

Among her reminders, Jadaone emphasized that purchasing a movie ticket does not give anyone ownership of the entire theater.

“Movie ticket lang nabili natin, hindi buong sinehan, opo," dagdag pa niya.

She also reminded moviegoers that a cinema should not be treated like their personal living room, where they can freely move around or behave without considering the people around them.

“Sinehan po ito, hindi mo sala.”

Jadaone then delivered a playful but pointed remark aimed at viewers who repeatedly kick or move excessively in their seats.
