In a Facebook post, the acclaimed director talked about "cinema etiquette" and listed several things she believes moviegoers should keep in mind when watching a film.
Jadaone began her post by reminding people that purchasing a ticket only gives them access to their seat and the movie experience, not ownership of the entire theater.
"Tandaan po natin opo, may tinatawag tayong cinema etiquette kasi," she wrote.

She then listed her first reminder: "Movie ticket lang nabili natin, hindi buong sinehan, opo."
The filmmaker followed it with another simple point about treating the cinema as a shared space.
"Sinehan po ito, hindi mo sala," she wrote.
Her third reminder was more pointed and appeared to address one particular behavior that can easily disturb another moviegoer.
"E kung yung upuan mo kaya ang sipa-sipain ko???" Jadaone said.
While she did not provide further details in the supplied caption about what specifically prompted the post, her message centered on being considerate of other people who are also paying to enjoy a film.
The director's post also kept the message simple. Instead of giving a long list of rules, she highlighted three situations that can affect other viewers: acting as though the cinema belongs to one person, treating the theater like one's own home, and repeatedly kicking another person's seat.
Antoinette is known for her work as a Filipino filmmaker, making her reminder about proper behavior inside cinemas particularly relevant to the moviegoing experience.
