The couple purchased the lot in 2021 and started construction in 2023. According to Jugs, they intentionally avoided building an overly large house because they wanted something practical and visually calming.

“We wanted something not so big... 'cause we don't have human children. And we wanted something that was a little bit easy on the eyes,” Andie shared.

The location also played an important role in the home’s concept. Since the property is situated some distance from the city, the couple wanted the house to provide a peaceful environment where they could unwind after the drive.

“It's a bit of a drive to get here so we wanted na pagdating here, everything about your senses are just a little bit more tempered,” Andie said.

The house features a free-flowing layout, allowing the open bar, living room and dining area to connect seamlessly. The design gives the common areas an open and relaxed feel while maintaining the couple’s preference for simplicity.

Music also has a noticeable presence in the home. Jugs’ passion for music is reflected through a vintage electric piano and his collection of vinyl records.

The master bedroom, however, follows a more compact design. Andie explained that they deliberately wanted the room to contain only the essentials, including their bed and television.

“We didn't want na masaydong malaki. We wanted na bed lang, TV, that's it. Mahilig kami kasi mag-pamasahe so medyo na-conflict kami nung inisip namin, ayaw namin ng masyadong malaking kwarto pero mahilig kami mag-pamasahe. So, nagpagawa kami ng isang area kung saan kami pwede kaming mag-pamasahe,” she said.

Rather than making the bedroom bigger, the couple came up with another solution. They constructed a separate villa on the property that serves as their designated massage area.

The additional space also has another practical purpose. It can be transformed into a guest room whenever relatives, friends or other visitors stay at their home.

The newly built property has already become a gathering place for people close to the couple. In June, Jugs and Andie hosted a housewarming celebration for their It's Showtime family.
