The challenge was featured in Mika’s latest vlog uploaded on her social media accounts. It came after their trip to Vietnam, where Will suggested that they try acting as a couple for an entire day after returning to the Philippines.
For the challenge, the two agreed to spend time together naturally instead of following a detailed plan. Will picked Mika up before they went grocery shopping for the meals they planned to prepare.
Since they could not have their pretend date at a restaurant, they rented a place where they could cook and set up their own dining table.

Mika asked Will what he wanted her to prepare. The Sparkle actor quickly mentioned one particular dish that she had previously cooked for him.
“May favorite akong luto mo,” Will said before identifying Bicol Express as his choice.
The content creator agreed to prepare the dish. They also decided to cook adobong atay, another meal that Will liked.
Their grocery-shopping scenes featured several playful exchanges as they tried to stay in character. They also used “baby” as their temporary term of endearment for the challenge.
While preparing the food, Mika and Will recalled their time together as housemates inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. According to them, their relationship at the time was not romantic because they often teased each other and sometimes argued over household tasks.
“Hindi talaga kami romantic before. Para talaga kaming magkapatid,” Mika explained.
The pair said their friendship eventually improved as they developed a better understanding of each other.
Their conversation later turned to love languages. Will said he appreciated physical touch and quality time, while Mika shared that she valued words of affirmation and quality time.
Mika also recalled how Will would send fruits and other food to her taping unit when they were working on a series. She explained that he would learn about the food she wanted through the people around them.
Will, meanwhile, named persistence as one of the qualities he appreciated about Mika.
After finishing the meals, the two arranged their table for their pretend date. Will also prepared the adobong atay while Mika rested.
The pair later visited a photo booth, where they continued their playful interactions and took pictures together.
