Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara has opened up about her current outlook on love, revealing that romance is no longer her priority as she chooses to focus on her career and personal healing.

During her guest appearance on Boy Abunda's interview program, Kyline candidly shared that she is not seeing anyone and has no plans to enter a new relationship anytime soon. Although she still believes in love, she admitted that this is not the right time for her to pursue it.
“Andoon pa rin ako sa I will never give up on love–– andoon pa rin ako. But right now, I’m not ready for it,” Kyline admitted.
The actress explained that she has grown emotionally tired from repeatedly going through the same process whenever she meets someone new.

“I know for a fact that I’m not ready now because I just… I’m not entertaining anybody. Siguro, I just got tired of the whole process of getting to know each other again–– the whole cycle of it,” she maintained.
Kyline's most recent public relationship was with basketball player Kobe Paras. The two eventually parted ways nearly a year after confirming their romance.
Aside from wanting to heal herself, Kyline also revealed that she has become more cautious because she does not want her loved ones to experience pain alongside her.
“Kasi parang medyo natatakot na din ako masaktan ulit eh and masaktan din yung family ko.”
She also shared the advice that her family continues to remind her whenever it comes to matters of the heart.
“Wag mag madali, wag po mag madali if meron kang nagugustuhan na isang lalaki, wag madali, kilalanin mo ng mabuti muna before you really fall for that person.”
Reflecting on her personality, Kyline admitted that she naturally gives her affection wholeheartedly, which she believes explains why she easily falls in love.
“Kaya siguro ako mabilis ma-in love or just to give love that easily, it’s because I feel I have too much love to give. So, I just want to give it to people like, for example, my friends, my family, and then my special someone. Siguro kaya ganun,” she asserted.
Despite her optimism that love will eventually find its way back into her life, Kyline emphasized that her career currently holds her full attention.
When Boy Abunda asked what she would like to tell her future partner, the actress answered with a smile:
“Wait ka lang diyan, hindi pa ako ready.”
