Content creator Mimiyuuuh has opened up about what she considers the most meaningful gift she has ever given her parents, revealing that purchasing a house for her family remains one of the proudest milestones of her life.

During an interview with Kara David on i-Listen, Mimiyuuuh shared how the achievement carried deep personal significance because it stemmed from a difficult chapter in their family’s past.

According to the internet personality, one of her biggest motivations was ensuring that her loved ones would never have to experience housing insecurity again after they were once forced to leave a rented home.

“I think ’yung bahay po namin [ang pinaka-special]. Nabili ko po siya nakatayo na siya kasi iyon po ’yung frustration ko kasi di ba pinapalayas kami? Ayaw ko po kasi ’yung experience na ’yun. So Nag-ipon po ako. Because of content creation, nakabili po ako ng house for my family. ’Yun po sobrang tuwang-tuwa po talaga sila nun,” she said.

Mimiyuuuh explained that saving enough money to buy a permanent home became a personal goal. Through her success in content creation, she was eventually able to turn that dream into reality for her family.

When asked about her mother’s reaction to the gift, the creator admitted that her parents are not the type to openly express their emotions. Despite this, she believes her mother felt immense pride and gratitude.

“Alam niyo po ’yung mga magulang natin hindi po talaga kasi sila expressive, pero feeling ko po sobrang proud na proud po siya sa akin and sobrang grateful siya,” she relayed.

The house, she said, was also her way of giving back to her parents for the sacrifices they made while raising their children.

Mimiyuuuh went on to recall how their family’s circumstances changed over the years. She revealed that there was a time when they were financially stable because her parents operated a business near Baclaran Church.

“Dati po masagana po talaga ang buhay namin. Kahit hindi sobra, okay po ’yung kinikita nila kasi meron po kaming pwesto sa may Baclaran church, sa gilid po.”

However, things became more challenging after their source of income was affected.

“Eh na-demolish po. Ang hirap po nun kasi naman ang feeling-feeling ng nanay ko, pinag-private kami nung high school, so parang hirap na hirap talaga ’yung nanay ko, ‘Saan ako kukuha ng pang-tuition, tatlo?’” she recalled.

Looking back, Mimiyuuuh said the experience strengthened her desire to help her family. What began as a painful memory eventually became the driving force behind one of the biggest accomplishments of her career—providing her parents with a home they could finally call their own.
