The social media personality shared her story during her guest appearance on Kara David's I-Listen podcast, where she reflected on growing up in Baclaran and helping her parents sell ready-to-wear clothing before finding success online.
Recalling their difficult situation, Mimiyuuuh said there were moments when she questioned why her family had to experience hardship.

Looking back now, however, she believes those experiences shaped her outlook on life.
“And thinking about it, grateful ako na na-experience ko siya, Miss Kara, kasi mas pinahalagahan ko 'yung mga bagay na meron ako ngayon.”
During the conversation, Kara David mentioned that she had read about Mimiyuuuh's humble beginnings and asked just how difficult life had been for their family.
The content creator recalled weeks when instant noodles were all they could afford to eat, although she did not realize the gravity of their financial situation at the time because her parents tried to shield their children from the burden.
Feeling ko, 'Oh my gosh!
Mimiyuuuh also remembered working the evening shift selling clothes alongside her father, even during the Christmas season. She admitted feeling envious whenever she saw other people attending Simbang Gabi while she had to continue working.
The internet star then revealed the statement that continues to weigh on her until today.
She explained that her words came from frustration over their situation, but she now deeply regrets saying them.
Today, Mimiyuuuh says those difficult experiences have become a reminder to value every blessing and appreciate the sacrifices her parents made to give their family a better future.
