In their latest sit-down interview with Ogie Diaz, celebrity couple Coco Martin and Julia Montes opened up about a deeply personal chapter involving Coco’s ex-partner, Katherine Luna.

Years after dealing with a highly publicized and controversial paternity issue, Coco revealed how he and Julia recently decided to extend a helping hand to Katherine who was in need before.

Coco admitted that he was initially unsure how Julia would react, given the turbulent history surrounding his past relationship. However, Julia's response completely blew him away back then.

"Sabi ko sa kanya, 'Nanay, parang gusto ko tulungan si Kat. Yung mata, papaayos ko.' Tas sabi niya, 'Tulungan mo,'" Coco recalled.

The actor emphasized that he truly saw the beauty of Julia’s heart during that exact conversation. She showed absolute maturity, never once hesitating or worrying about how much the assistance would cost.

"Nakikita ko kasi yung pagiging... kagandahan ng puso ni Jules. Walang pag-aalinangan na, 'O, baka magkano yan,' yung mga ganoong maliliit na ano, hindi. Kung ano yung maitutulong," Coco explained.

Following their discussion, the couple formally reached out to Katherine and even welcomed her to Sigabo.

When asked by Ogie about what transpires between them, Julia shared that she and Katherine haven't had a deeply serious conversation yet, but the emotional air was completely cleared.

"Actually wala kaming deeper usapan pa po, pero nung nag-meet kami ni ate Katherine... sorry lang siya ng sorry at thank you nang thank you," Julia shared softly. "Sobrang ano siya, super bait ni ate Katherine."
