Former ‘Eat Bulaga’ star BJ Tolits Forbes opens up about nerve-wracking acting audition

The former "Eat Bulaga" personality revealed that he auditioned before three respected directors for a masterclass workshop. According to him, the opportunity was not for a television or film project but for a workshop designed to help actors further develop their craft.

The actor admitted that he felt extremely nervous because it had been a long time since he last attended an audition.

“Grabe yung kaba ko dahil sobrang tagal na ata yung huling audition setup na inattendan ko,” he wrote.

BJ shared that the first stage involved introducing themselves in groups of three. Out of 25 auditionees, only 14 advanced to the next round, where they were asked to perform a monologue chosen from two available options.

The celebrity recalled getting number 13 in the lineup and spending more time dealing with anxiety while waiting for his turn.

“Prepared ako, kabisado ko, naperform ko naman siya ng maayos but I know that I could have done better,” he admitted.

Although he believed there was still room for improvement in his performance, BJ said he was grateful for the opportunity to go through the audition process again. He described the experience as deeply meaningful and something that reminded him of his passion for acting.

“Ang sarap lang sa feeling bumalik ng mas buo, ng mas handa,” he shared.

The actor also expressed his love for the arts, saying he would never get tired of studying and appreciating the talent that he considers a gift.

At the time of his post, BJ said he still did not know whether he would be accepted into the workshop since another batch of auditionees was scheduled to perform. However, he emphasized that the experience itself was already a treasure.

He also left an inspiring message for his followers, encouraging them to pursue what they love despite fear and uncertainty.

“Do it even if you are scared. Do it even if you are anxious about it.” BJ wrote.
