Alongside the workout footage, Carolina also shared details about how her weight changed during her pregnancy. She revealed that she weighed 128 pounds before becoming pregnant and reached 165 pounds shortly before giving birth.

Rather than presenting the weight gain as something negative, Carolina emphasized that gaining weight during pregnancy was a normal and necessary part of carrying a baby. Her message focused more on accepting the changes her body underwent and approaching postpartum recovery with patience rather than rushing toward a particular appearance.

“I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share my postpartum journey with you all. 🤍” Carolina wrote.

She acknowledged that there can be significant pressure placed on women to “snap back” quickly after giving birth. For Carolina, however, the reality is that restoring strength and becoming comfortable in one’s body again is a gradual process.

“The pressure to ‘snap back’ after giving birth can be so real, but the truth is, rebuilding your body takes time, patience, and a whole lot of grace,” she said.

Her words reflected an approach centered on realistic recovery rather than comparing herself with an idealized image of how a new mother is expected to look. Carolina said she feels deeply grateful for having a healthy and beautiful baby, while also recognizing that she has personal goals she wants to work toward as she continues recovering.

“I feel incredibly blessed to have a healthy, beautiful baby, and I’m also proud of myself for recognizing that there’s work ahead as I rebuild my strength and feel more like myself again,” she shared.

The workout montage appears to represent the beginning of that process. The exercises featured in the video involve several major muscle groups and demonstrate Carolina’s focus on strength rather than simply weight loss.

Her routine includes the dumbbell bench press, an upper-body pushing movement; bent-over rows, which train the back; goblet squats, which work the lower body; Romanian deadlifts, which emphasize the posterior chain; and hammer curls, which target the arms.

By documenting the exercises, Carolina gives followers a personal look at her return to structured training while making it clear that her postpartum journey is about more than physical appearance.

“I gained weight during pregnancy, as my body was supposed to,” she wrote.

She then explained that she is now embracing the process of becoming stronger, both physically and mentally, with each individual workout.

“And now I’m embracing the process of getting stronger — physically and mentally — one workout at a time,” Carolina added.

Her statement also places mental well-being alongside physical recovery. Instead of treating exercise solely as a way to return to her pre-pregnancy weight, Carolina described training as part of a broader effort to rebuild her strength and regain a sense of familiarity with herself.

“This is where my postpartum journey begins,” Carolina concluded.

Rather than describing pregnancy-related weight gain as something that needs to be quickly erased, Carolina appears to be approaching the next phase by accepting what her body went through and gradually working to become stronger.
