“Kasi nung bago ako kay Madam (Kris), binigyan niya ako ng chance para [ma-interview] on-cam sa vlog niya. Tatanungin niya lang like ‘Kamusta ka na?’ ganiyan [habang] kumakain kami ng mga snacks.”
He also recalled a lighthearted moment involving Kris Aquino’s candid personality when it came to feedback.
“Pagpasok ko sabi niya, ‘Ang kapal talaga ng foundation mo,’” Fonz said, prompting laughter during the interview.
Rather than feeling offended, Fonz said he understood the comment as part of Kris Aquino’s openness and humor toward her staff.
“Nakakatawa kasi hindi ako na-offend. Parang feeling ko ‘yun yung endearment [niya].”
The moment did not end there, as Kris Aquino later took steps to help him improve his makeup look by consulting her friend and professional makeup artist RB Chanco.
“Sabi niya parang ‘RB ituro niyo kay Fonz yung tamang shade [ng foundation] niya,” he added.
Fonz also shared another surprising moment when Kris Aquino personally gave him money to purchase makeup supplies.

Beyond the humorous experiences, Fonz emphasized the kindness he witnessed from Kris Aquino toward her staff. When asked if she was generous, he responded without hesitation: “Very, very much.”
According to him, Kris ensured that everyone on set was comfortable and well-fed, even allocating a food budget that exceeded industry norms.
“Kasi ako yung naka-toka sa pagbili ng pagkain for the entire set, so ‘yung budget namin doon is malayo pala doon sa norm ng industry...malaki [ang budget] for food.”
“Nakakatuwa lang. Nung umalis na ako kay Madam, doon ko na-realize [na] grabe pala sa production namin, ang swerte-swerte namin,” he said.
For Fonz, his nearly three years with Kris Aquino was more than just work—it was a formative experience that he still considers one of the “best job” experiences of his life.
